Our Managing Director Stuart Vaughan CEng FICE MIStructE and Technical Director Tomasz Mochol, will be presenting next Monday on the Temporary Works for Demolition of Earls Court Exhibition Centre in London.
The paper, written by Stuart and Tomasz, which describes the challenging temporary works used for demolishing the vast Earls Court Exhibition Centre in particular the removal of a major access bridge and one of the main roofs, has been awarded the Coopers Hill War Memorial Prize by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) in 2021.
The presentation will detail the project history, challenges, and the scope of the temporary works involved.
