KELTBRAY SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH WAGNERS AND CAPITAL CONCRETE TO SUPPLY ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY CONCRETE IN THE UK

Keltbray has committed to using new low carbon concrete following trials in London

Keltbray has committed to use 11,000 cu m of EFC® by the end of June 2021, helping to ensure continued development of low carbon concrete in more critical parts of construction.

This week, we are excited to share that Keltbray Group has signed a limited exclusivity license to supply EFC concrete in the UK with Wagner and Capital Concrete. Keltbray has made a financial guarantee to ensure 11000m3 of EFC® is placed by the end of June 2021. The commitment comes on the back of increased stakeholder interest and demand for significant reduction in embodied carbon within building and civil engineering projects.

In Wentworth House Partnership (WHP), we are fully committed promoting sustainability in all that we do. It is our goal to make a positive contribution to the world that we live and work in. Our goal is to balance our economic achievements with our contribution to society and care for the environment.

This summer, WHP  announced that we are committed to specifying environmentally friendly concrete (EFC) on all our temporary works.

In one of WHP's latest projects, Charterhouse Place, we have used EFC on all temporary works which includes vault infills, thrust blocks for raking props, wind post foundation bases.

By offering EFC to all our customers, we believe this is an industry-first initiative in the wide-spread application of carbon-reduced concrete on major temporary works packages.
