ICE Publishing paper on Earls Court Exhibition Centre demolition

Back in August this year, a paper written by our Director Stuart Vaughan and Principal Engineer Tomasz Mochol on the temporary works that WHP provided for the demolition of the Earls Court Exhibition Centre for Keltbray Group, was published by the ICE Publishing of the Institute of Civil Engineers.

The demolition of London's Earls Court Exhibition Centre in 2015 was comparable in scale to that of a conventional power station, but located in a highly residential area with major rail and underground interfaces. The demolition value was in excess of £51 million and the temporary works design was around £1 million. Wentworth House Partnership was awarded the 2018 BCIA temporary works award for its work at Earls Court, London.
